User Experience Engineer - WaferWire Cloud Technologies Responsibilities: Build workspaces, portals, and UX flows natively using UI Builder and Service Portal. Develop reusable Lit.js web components for workspace and portal use cases. Build and maintain Seismic Portal integrations and branded experiences. Connect UI components to Now Platform data sources, Glide APIs, REST APIs, and real-time events. Collaborate with product managers, architects, and UX designers to translate wireframes into production-ready interfaces. Optimize UI performance, responsiveness, and accessibility (WCAG compliance). Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 8+ years of frontend engineering experience. Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience building UX solutions directly on the ServiceNow Now Platform. Strong understanding of Now Platform fundamentals, including Data models, tables, and relationships, Glide APIs, REST APIs, Platform data sources, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions Hands-on experience with: UI Builder (Now Experience), Service Portal, Workspace Builder, Configurable Workspace, Agent Workspace, Employee Center Pro Strong proficiency in Lit.js, Web Components, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 / SASS, Angular / AngularJS, React Components Experience working with Data Resources, portal development, and API integrations. Ability to build UX solutions end-to-end on the ServiceNow platform and not limited to styling or design implementation. Experience interpreting and implementing Figma designs. Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and component-based architecture. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Requirements: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Required. Certified Application Developer (CAD) – Preferred. Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Preferred. Experience with Seismic Portal implementation, customization, and integration with ServiceNow data layers. Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
