Sr Lead Software Engineer – Front-End Technical Lead (React) - Northern Trust

Responsibilities:
Solve complex technical and business problems through innovative front-end engineering solutions and sound technical judgment.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and engineering excellence.
Serve as the principal designer for front-end applications and digital experiences, defining architecture standards, UI engineering practices, and implementation strategies.
Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and UX designers to translate business requirements and design concepts into scalable technical solutions.
Design, develop, and support enterprise web applications using React, TypeScript, Redux, Redux Toolkit (RTK), JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
Architect and implement micro front-end solutions that enable modular, scalable, and independently deployable application components.
Drive implementation of responsive and accessible user interfaces that adhere to modern UI/UX standards and best practices.
Collaborate with back-end engineering teams to integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and enterprise services.
Lead front-end performance optimization initiatives by improving application responsiveness, load times, rendering performance, and overall user experience.
