Role: Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack – Frontend Focus) Company: Pearson Location: Bangalore / Chennai (Hybrid) Job Type: FULL_TIME Experience: 6+ Years Responsibilities: - Design and build modern, responsive frontend applications using React.js - Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices - Drive frontend architecture decisions, performance optimization, state management, and component design - Maintain clean code using SOLID, Clean Code, DDD, and BDD practices - Lead code reviews and mentor engineers on full stack best practices - Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and accessibility - Promote adoption of AI tools and automation Requirements: - 6+ years of hands-on full stack development experience (frontend-heavy) - Strong expertise in React.js / Angular, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript - Solid experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices - Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes - Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions preferred), REST APIs, and databases (MongoDB / SQL) - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
