My Frontend Interview Experience with Adobe for Computer Scientist
Compensation Range
--
How landed on the interview?
I had applied to Adobe several times in the past with no response. But this time, the job description closely aligned with my past work, and I finally received a callback
Round 1: Hiring Manager/Culture Fit
Started with a quick intro and a puzzle (I solved it after some time)
Was then asked to prove the solution theoretically, which didn’t go perfectly
Followed by a lot of behavioral questions — this round felt average to me
Round 2: Frontend System Design
This was more of a discussion round than a classic system design
Talked about performance optimization, accessibility, build tools, and security
Also answered some behavioral questions — this round felt very relevant to real work
Round 3: JavaScript/Framework
I was asked to create a polyfill for Promise (then, catch, finally)
In the last 20 minutes, I had to take a JSON and create a basic bar chart(Initially asked to create it with canvas, but i mentioned i don't have much idea so tried it with plain JS and HTML and CSS)
I was well-prepared, finished most of it, and the interviewer seemed happy
Round 4: Frontend Fundamentals
Covered JavaScript basics, prototypes, and some tricky output questions
Also got a few CSS and HTML questions
I don’t remember all the details, but overall, the round went well
